Minimal Pia Ballerina Flat in Cloud White

Form meets function with our best-selling Pia Ballerina flat in cloud white, a soft and airy neutral that enhances the elegance of its refined silhouette. The design for the Pia Ballerina Flat was inspired after watching a ballerina customize her shoes before a rehearsal as she repeatedly flexed the toe, scored the sole and adjusted and re-adjusted the straps. The Pia was designed to be deconstructed and customizable. Our ballet flat features a functional elastic cinch cord, elongated square-toe shape and a deconstructed interior for a bespoke fit true to its ballerina heritage.

Our Pia ballerina flat is made by hand in Tuscany, Italy.

    FIT

    Pia runs true to size and you can customize the fit with the functional elastic cord. Pia is a deconstructed shoe and the soft and supple Italian nappa will form to your foot over time.

    We use Italian sizing and converting from our Italian sizing is easy: our Italian size 35 is equivalent to a US size 5 and our Italian size 42 is equivalent to a US size 12.

    We provide complimentary exchanges for a new size. For refunds, a $25 restocking fee per pair will be charged and deducted from your refund.

    DESIGNER NOTES

    I was inspired to design Pia after watching a ballerina customize her shoes before a rehearsal. I watched as she repeatedly flexed the toe, scored the sole and adjusted and re-adjusted the straps. I designed Pia to be deconstructed and customizable: the fit is adjusted by using the elastic cord (the bow at the front is functional, not just decorative). 

    To achieve Pia’s comfortable fit, I sourced soft and supple Italian nappa, added a discreet heel, padded the insole and use a reinforced spinal back. Pia’s elegant silhouette is enhanced by the elongated toe shape.
